Thats awesome. I wish I could have been there to see that but... unfortunately for me, i was in a karaoke bar, listening to my mom sing "I Love Rock and Roll", badly I might add. All while she was drunk as hell and wearing a pink hard hat. I dont know which one of us had a more unusual day!!!

your analogy to hold the girls' interest was just the thing to turn me off from continuing. i'm insulted, as i usually am by your comments, that you think girls don't understand the passion and loyalty one can feel towards an athletic team..... good day, sir

if you are offended by ANYTHING that i say then you obviously dont know me well enough. and though i stand by my post, since it was supposed to be all in fun, i do believe that some females do understand that passion and loyalty, but they are in a small minority. if you cannot admit this, then you are ignoring facts. i dont consider cheering a team on as "passionate". i call that liking a team. i consider passionate to be memorizing rankings, stats, jersey numbers, etc. i consider it calling colin at midnight while at work to find out the time of the kentucky game next week so i can change my availability to avoid conflict. i consider it being pissed off in traffic at 2am postgame because i want to catch sportscenter before it ends to see if my team got in the top 10 plays. i dont expect 95% of females to do these things. nor am i angry about it, its just how it is. though my original post may have been in jest, the truth is the truth. just thought i would clear that up.

As a girl I really wish I could understand what that feels like. Because as you said, for me it doesn't come natural. I really want to experience that because I realize how important it is to you [and other friends]. It's weird to not know about that part of your world. But I guess that's life...
