Dropping either Remy or Ro at present is totally a non-issue. Moving on.
Remy just survived baby's first CFUW, and this has confirmed two things to me: 1) I'm not doing that again until I'm positive there's NOTHING ELSE going on that week, and 2) I am totally comfortable playing the ratchef for crack. I do think I need to canon review to ensure he sounds right, but in terms of characterization I think I've got him nailed.
Ro is slowly getting acclimated to camp, and I'm slowly getting acclimated to her. I need to work on her voice-- I haven't gotten the snark down-- but it's less "AAH NO I NEED TO WORK ON THIS" and more "okay I need to work on this and that." Also need to throw her into less boring situations-- Ro is not the type to merely be happy with providing running commentary, and opportunities for her to be part of the action somehow. Obviously, I'm not as comfortable with her because she's new, but I'm working on it and I really like playing her in the right situations. I just need to remember that small talk only goes so far and that she's gonna want to be active.
And I need to essay properly on her because I keep thinking of stuff, which is a good sign. But first: SLEEP.
tl:dr Remy is adorable and hilarious to play and Ro is new and toppy and interesting and I think I'm starting to head in the right direction to play her right. Nobody's getting dropped.
