Okay, what the heck, I'm probably not going to be able to get back to this til Friday, but... getting in on the essay meme! I was going to do a first impressions for Remy anyway since that Real Life thing means it'll take me another two months to hit 1K comments and I am impatient.

augh I forgot to reply to that THANK YOU BRAIN.

Well, the poking and the size comments did not endear Sokka to Remy all that much, but the offering of {pretty good) hotcake kind of made up for it. (Remy personally thought it was just the tiniest bit dry and maybe needed a bit more oil or butter or whatever was used, but other than that it was good and the rest of the train of thought involved new recipe ideas.) He's used to the "OMG a talking rat/did you get turned into a rat" reaction by now, really.

Remy thinks Sokka is a bit weird and seriously needs to learn to respect personal space, but he seems nice enough otherwise. He's got no idea what to think about Sokka's drawing, though; he's pretty sure that certain landmarks don't look that way, but having a rat's-eye-view he's willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides, artists have to stick together and all that.
