I don't like that hazy state between alive and sleepy, where I'm bumbling about, lost-too tired to keep up, but too awake not to still try-insistantly wishing that someone would give me a little push to get me started again

People have differing experiences and reports. I've personally never tried shrooms, but I've spent tons of time on Bluelight and other drug sites. I hear acid is a clearer and more energetic trip, that shrooms are more mellow and visual and people are "more likely to freak out" on them.
For me, I've never done ecstasy, but I'd probably use acid instead of it given any choice. It fills me with the energy and quickness I've always wanted, makes everything colorful and astonishingly clear, makes my mind dive head-first into anything it encounters, makes me physically feel music (it and my beautiful subwoofer), and just connects me.
The last time I did it, I wanted to be introspective and reflective going into it, but ended up way too energetic for that, wanting nothing but to have a fucking great time. And then I proceeded to, and later gleaned a lot of introspection from that.
It's been half a year, so I've sorted out any loopy mind-residue and reconciled what I saw with what's real. I'm dying for another trip any time now.
Old as I am, I just remember the high-school assemblies we had. "An acid flashback made this poor girl tear out her eye and rip the skin from her breast!"
Oh, wait, that was Angel Dust.
They pretty much used the same script with different drugs, I think.
Sleep gives you cancer. As well as dreams. So does that mean dreams are cancerous?
I've said it before... to you, on an IM, methinks.
I have no doubts that you are the way you are from your past experiences. I, myself, will probably never put any kind of drug in my body except cold medicine or ibuprophen. I usually put that off until I'm about to cough up a lung.
Whatever. I see the pink hippo faeries perfectly fine without any outside influence. Hell... my imagination itself is a drug.
My props if you feel that your mind is edified from doing such things, just tell me all about it.
I'll just say here that I didn't (do it to) see anything... that really has nothing to do with it. ;o Of course, I'll tell you as much as you can stand to listen to. It just may need some reorganizing because I've retold, rehashed, and reunderstood all of it many, many times since then.
