Today was our last work day. In the 3 weeks that the 28 of us were working, we gutted out a total of 22 houses that were ruined by the hurricanes. True, a few of them will probably be bulldozed, but most will either be sold or moved-back-into. 22 homes! Yesterday we went into New Orleans, and it was amazing. It's a very beautiful city, at least in the parts we were in. I found this cool street band called Mother Tongue, and also visited St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, the very old one with all the big mausoleums.
