"One of the three or four most important pulps of them all" naturally makes me curious about the rest. I would guess one is Astounding Science Fiction, another is The Shadow, and ...?

I'd rate Adventure at #1, with a rotating selection of pulps for #2, #3, and #4, depending on the time of day.

I was familiar with "putz" (as both noun and verb), "schmuck", and "schlong", but "pischer" is a new one on me; thanks for the new vocabulary word.
