Non spoilery stuff first. I loved it! It was badass and awesome and incredibly faithful with the dialogue and filming. You must see the opening credits, because despite of how awesome the rest of the film was, the beginning was definitely a highlight. I also cannot emphasize how important it is to experience this in IMAX, the feeling of the sound

I don't know... I can't really blame Alan Moore for not wanting his name associated with either.

I don't know. Somehow I don't blame him for wanting to distance himself from something he didn't have creative control over. On the other hand, he should be proud and flattered to have his work adapted into a great film.

I guess being burned by The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen affected his decision a lot more.
