I am officially the worst at updating! I am watching TV, namely True Blood, Kings, and Better Off Ted. All three are great shows and the first and the last should be watched by everyone. Better Off Ted is the first new show I've picked up since I came to university (that's two years now). I'm almost tempted to rank it alongside Arrested Development! I can't remember the last time an episode of a show ("Racial Sensitivity") made me laugh to the point of crying.

Despite its anaemic ratings, I'm reassured by the fact that it's already been picked up for a second season. Still, I've been telling all my friends to watch it.

In terms of originality, they rank the same and I find comparisons a lot. That's partly why I chose an Arrested Development icon for the post. I'm hesitant to call it the next Arrested Development, mainly because I went a bit overboard with that when it came to 30 Rock. But yes, it's amazing. I'm concerned that people aren't talking about Better Off Ted, the memories of Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, and Dirty Sexy Money, all ABC shows renewed and then cancelled, are fresh in my mind. I'll do my best to spread the word.
