Congratulations on being financially independent! It'll be even more exciting when you start paying bills. ;)

I'll have to take a long weekend and come visit you, and bring you chicken soup. I'm sorry you have to go through surgery alone. :(

I know, right? Why couldn't at least the hospital bills come before I moved out :) Oh well. You're such a sweetheart, and you'll have to come visit for sure, even if it's not then. That way we could explore the city together! Miss you too!

Thanks dear, that echoes my sentiments :) I've got a call in to my doctor now to find out more details. My personal opinion is that if I've been walking on it (with pain but still) for over a year, then unless it will fall off otherwise, I'd rather get settled into work before taking time off. And if you should find yourself in Chicago anytime soon, I want to be on your agenda! Oh, and I like your new shoes :D

Commuting will be VERY difficult with only one foot, young lady.

I should be in Chicago at SOME point, since about half the universe is moving there, and it's the big conference-place for the Midwest peeps...

I'm driving up tomorrow (Friday) and moving in on Saturday. My dad will be there until Sunday afternoon, and then I leave for training in Springfield on Monday. I get back Friday afternoon, August 4. Let me know what your plan is and we'll work something out for sure. I look forward to seeing you!
