What's the furthest away you've ever been from the place you were born/created?
Wolfram & Hart. There is no place further that a man can go. Wolfram & Hart advertises itself as a reputable law firm. They are, more accurately, stealers of souls.
How did you get there?Holland Manners 'hand picked' me when I was in college. He said he saw potential ( Read more... )

In my experience, most places advertising themselves as reputable law firms are more accurately stealers of souls.

In the case of Wolfram & Hart, it's literal and contractual.

Well... most fairy tales are dark and grim. That's either where the word comes from or why they were called the Brothers Grimm, you know. I can't remember which it is, though. And most fairy tales start pretty bad, it's the ending that's happy. Not the begining. So it's kind of dumb for you to say, "my life's no fairy tale" just because your life is totally craptacular? Because in fairy tales everything always starts as craptacular but then at the end it works out pretty good. Like your daddy marries a real bitch who beats you or whatever but then you get to cook her in the oven.

Stuff like that!

See?

So. Anyway. Did you follow all that?

Do you like living in my house?

I'm missing a diet coke. I count them, you know. Did you drink it? I don't mind if you did.

I told you I wouldn't touch your drinks, Kara. I didn't drink it. I don't drink diet coke.

And yeah, I followed it. Brothers Grimm, they wrote a lot of the Fairy Tales. And most of them? Don't end all sunshine and happiness. The REAL version of Hansel and Gretel? The witch ate the kids. They didn't get away.

Prove that to me. I believe that's an urban legend. Prove it.

Okay. If you're sure.

Did you eat my yoghurt?

The yogurt went bad while you were gone. I threw it away.

You want me to find you a copy of the original Grimm Brothers? So you can read it yourself?
