This year's SheVaCon was the first time I've done a new costume in about a decade. Not for myself, of course, but I'm pretty proud of it.

Afraid StellarCon's out for me. Spread the money as thin as it would go to do SheVaCon. Winterfest sounds like a lot of fun.

I got major ego-boo when folks asked Cherokee if she did the work, and she pointed to me and said, "No, he did."

That's excellent! You make me want to get back to my sewing machine and see if I can get even half that good. I love it!

Oh, and I wanted to tell you: at the event that I attended this weekend that wasn't SheVaCon, I was on stage with three girls in chainmail bikinis, and I kept thinking of your con stories involving same :)
