  • A vegetarian cookbook.
  • An iPod Touch.
  • A new cellphone, don't know which model but most of the extras are made useless thanks to the aforementioned iPod.
  • A towel. (It's a really nice towel!)
  • A grocery basket full of neat stuff like olive oil, chocolate and condiments.

A vegetarian cookbook.

Them people seem to have an obsession with cookbooks. I got TWO pasta-focused cookbooks. Not that I'm complaining ^_^

After a few years of vegetarianism, my best advice is to read up on nutrition and cookery, so that whenever a relative starts to nag you about a vitamin they think you won't get from non-meat based dishes, you can grind them to the ground. And it's good to know how to prepare your own food, it takes a lot of arguments away from your mother on why you should stick to eating meat. Not that being a vegetarian is all about having the right one liners to defend your choice in various situations...

And no, you don't know me, even though facebook keeps suggesting to me that I might. I'm just lurking around my friends-of-friends journals.
