I've just cut all the rats nails, ivermecced them and given them a cod liver oil capsule. (while they all ran about on the table) Then I replaced all hammocks in the big cage - and put all 12 in together! They were perfectly happy curling up on the table - so I'm hoping it goes well - though Poppy can sometimes be a bit awkward during intros

It's awesome you can put them in together. Once we had gerbils who fell out, then one day we thought we'd try re-introducing them -- I still have a scar from seperating the little bastards ^^.

Yep rats are very social creatures and are normally pretty good at being introduced to each other - luckily cos with 12 - soon to be 14 of them, 12 seperate cages would take up loads of room!
