I finally said goodbye to my Ford Escort last night. This guy who lives out past Six Flags came and got it at about 8:00PM. It was good to see it go, but it was better to receive money for seeing it go. Now the alley in back of the house looks so empty. The car had been sitting there, dormant, for at least 3 months

Saturday Gretchen and I were successfully able to avoid society. Well, except for a short ride up to Rally's for a burger. Other than that, we hid from the daylight and heat and watched movies all day. It was actually quite nice. I was able to organize a few things, and I'm weeding a few things out of my music equipment. I'm selling a few effects

Wednesday night, Gretchen and I watched The Prestige. I wasn't sure what to expect. But it was actually a really good movie. Alot of trickery and speculation on the viewers behalf. You don't actually know the definitive truth until the very end of the movie, and even then you have to think about it for a minute

Ok, so the Transformers movie really knocked me out of the water. Wow. I expected it to be this love story (ala Armageddon) about how Sam (Shia LaBouf (sp?)) ends up with the All-Spark, and Megatron gets free and steals Sam's girlfriend to get it back and the Autobots are there as well, or some crap like that. I didn't have too high of expectations
