I finally said goodbye to my Ford Escort last night. This guy who lives out past Six Flags came and got it at about 8:00PM. Saturday Gretchen and I were successfully able to avoid society. Well, except for a short ride up to Rally's for a burger. Other than that, we hid from the daylight and heat and watched movies all day. It was actually quite nice. I was able to organize a few things, and I'm weeding a few things out of my music equipment. Wednesday night, Gretchen and I watched The Prestige. I wasn't sure what to expect. But it was actually a really good movie. Alot of trickery and speculation on the viewers behalf. Ok, so the Transformers movie really knocked me out of the water. Wow. I expected it to be this love story (ala Armageddon) about how Sam (Shia LaBouf (sp?)) ends up with the All-Spark, and Megatron gets free and steals Sam's girlfriend to get it back and the Autobots are there as well, or some crap like that.
