I'm sorry you're feeling confused about your friends. Awhile ago, I really evaluated my friendships and ended up discovering I didn't have really any friends at all. While it hurt I think it was good to not be friends with people who treated me like crap and just spend time meeting new people and making real friends. I'm glad you've got Ian--I'm sure that helps. :)

I don't make friends easily which is why I hang on to the 'so' called ones I have now but as of half an hour ago they can all get fucked, I am sooo sick of making an effort and having it chucked in my face, bloody bullshit!

I feel the same way a lot of the time. I also find it hard to make friends, I'm not socially out-going at all, and therefore the friends I have now probably get a lot more leeway than they really should at times. I also know what you mean by being the one making the effort all the time.

the thing is tho, I woke up to myself 2 years ago but my 'so called' friends are still doing exactly what i was doing 2 years ago, nothing different and they will not make an effort for me at all. I've bloody had it with the lot of them, everyone can get fucked!
