Hey man, how did your interview go with UGA Public Safety on Tuesday? Hope you nailed it.

You said you applied in October 2003 and you just got to take the physical test and interview this month? I have a question. How long did it take for you to get a response from them at all after you turned in your application? Did they notify you that you were being considered like 2 weeks afterward or anything, or was it more like you just turned it in and then never heard from them again and then suddenly one day in the mail almost a year later, you got a letter saying when to show up for the physical abilities test? I turned my ap in about two weeks ago, so I'm wondering if it's normal for them to take that long or if Captain Boone has just decided she doesn't like what she sees. lol

yeah i did nail the physical abilities test, they are going to contact me for the final interview this week. I applied in late october, and i know a bunch of people were hired in Jan. that applied in August. I just kept calling them, and hounding them. Apparently the chief retired this summer, and not many cops left so that's why it took so long. i literally called Cpt. Boone every 2 weeks, she is very nice, but it did take way to long. i dont think i was a normal situation, not sure why.
