Musings on life

I don't tend to post stuff like this without setting it to private. These thoughts are intensely personal, but they shape who I am today and as such I think it's important that anyone who cares to take an interest in my life has a chance to read how I feel about some of my recent history and how that's shaped me. If you want to know me as a person ( Read more... )

Thanks. :)

It's hard to write down these type of thoughts, and harder to make the decision to open it up for others to see. Not because I want to keep it private, but it's hard to tell when you're either bothering people with stuff they don't want to hear or because they might misunderstand and get the wrong idea about people (hence the footnote at the bottom).

But as I was writing this I felt that I should post it openly as I saw no reason to hide it.

Echoing Utlah's comment, there's not much more that I can add other than to thank you for the time and effort that you put into writing this, and of course for the beautiful photographs - Tag is such a sweetie. :)

Hmm, still can't decide if the pic with Tag wearing those goggles is funny, cruel.. or both. >;)

Life is a riot of emotions, events, people and places - some harder to deal with than others. When I think of you and all of those things, I think of Raffa and the endless fun I've had with him, thanks to you - and of stomping soft toys up into the air with a makeshift seesaw. :P I think of you, me and the other Brits outdancing BBF at Eurofurence and going to bed after the sun had risen. Most of all, I think of that kind soul that I'm proud to call my friend.

"Most of all, I think of that kind soul that I'm proud to call my friend."

That means a lot to me! :)

Hardly cruel, as they're specifically made for dogs, to protect their eyes in windy environments. They're even called Doggles. :p

Earlier tonight when you chatted with me about 'thinking', I hadn't realised you had written this. I have some idea of how you must feel, there's some things I feel perhaps discussing at somepoint but just need to work out how to put it down in writing ( ... )

I really enjoyed reading your post and learning a little more about the person behind the wolf. Its amazing how a certain event like your trip to Glasgow can charge and shape our life's in so many ways.

My trip to Anthrocon 2007 was very similar in that aspect, as I had never planned to meet Tigwolf, let alone be fortunate enough to share the last 3 1/2 years of my life with him here in North Carolina.

Scotland is an amazing place and I can appreciate your allure for the country. I got to visit the highlands last Spring and really loved the people and way of life. My grandmother from my mothers side of the family was from Scotland and it was really great to retrace some of my heritage.

I wish you the best in your studies and hope our paths will cross again in the near future. I also hope you find some closure with Tag. Its amazing how much dogs add to our life's and I am sure he appreciates the time and love you gave him while you were together.

Best Regards,
-Jaeger
