If you're casting Panic as the four boys, I'd probably go for:

Shakes: Brendon
John: Ryan
Tommy: Jon
Michael: Spencer

There's a part of me that would kinda like to see Bob as Father Bobby as well. I figure Bob would make a good Father Bobby. I'd be tempted to combine King Benny into the Way Brothers as well, and basically end up casting both Gee and Mikey into that role. I sort of want to see Pete as Danny Snyder, the inept lawyer, I think. Other than that, I'm not sure...

I'm pretty much with you on the boys line-up, though I'm kinda thinking Mikey the mafia boss and Gerard the lawyer, cause the dynamic between those two would be kinda cool. That'd alter the plot a little bit, but still... evilgenius!Mikeyway telling confused!drugged!Gerard off for fumbling with the court proceedings sounds fun in my sick mind

I like the Mikey-Gerard dynamic there as well. That could work, in a big way.

Shane fits Carol well. I'm not sure who else I could cast in that role; I definately don't have any other burning ideas.

For now, it's just one of them crazy ideas my brain entertains me with at random moments. Thing is, though, I can actually see it working. I'm already crushing on the Spencer/Ryan and Gerard/Mikey dynamics in a big way and thinking writing styles. That's the part I find a little tricky, tbh. I never read the actual book the movie was based on and I'm not sure how I'm gonna deal with the jumping between present and past. Usually, when my thoughts move into specifics like that, yeah, it's gonna end up written. There's a little Spencer prologue I've put down, so maybe the beast's gonna grow. Probably. Cause my brain's a strange place.

Also, haven't read the evil!FOB AU, but would definitely give that a go if you happened to have a link. How are your evil!people, btw? I'm missing your porn like burning if truth be told.
