Jumper 2

Nov 19, 2004 08:00

Location: At sea.

So last night we had another Jumper. Anyone starting to get the jist of depression on the ship. 2 people within 2 months. Yup there just beating a dead horse with a stick still expecting it to run like a champ. Sad that some people can't deal with stress.

Sorry to hear about another jumper. All of you don't need that stress on top of all the other things you're dealing with. Hope you're holding up under all this. We know you're strong but everyone has their breaking point.
On another subject are you going to be home for Christmas? It would sure be nice to see you....Love you and think about you all the time. Keep safe and know there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

I will not be able to come home for Christmas. I will be over here till at least Feb. Possibly later but in stone Feb. Thats only when we start our trip back. But silver lineing is it's makeing my last year go quickly.

As for the Jumper... It's not stressfull for us enlisted guys. Sadly it raises moral for a few days. Jokes about who's goeing to go next, just things to pass the time. I was mainly refering to how people can't deal with the stress and jump off the ship to get discharged from the Navy. If I was to put my current stress load into a percentage of 100% being I'll jump off the ship and 0% is the day that I get out. I'm at about 15%. Enough to keep busy but not stressfull.
