Life, boy how I don't understand it's motive till I look back upon it. If only every now and then we could see what lays upon the path up ahead.

Y'know what they all say about hindsight... funny how reflecting on the past often wants to make a person kick themselves in the ass...

:::snicker:: Isn't that the truth.

I was sitting with an old high school friend, and several new at about 2:00 in the morning in a Spokane Shari's when the question came up, what's the biggest regret you have about high school? We weren't talking about "Oh, I wish I would have been nicer to people" or "I wish I would have had more confidence". We were talking a single, real event that we wished would have happened differently. Interesting concept to me.

I have no real regrets about high school. Sure, in a perfect world it would have all gone differently but it was a learning experience. Nothing more than a steping stone to a brighter future. So would I have actually changed anything? Even those things that want to make you kick your ass in retrospect? It's an interesting question to ask yourself. Try it on for size.

Well, I figure that if I hadn't done the things I did back then, I would have done them eventually. There's a lot of shit that happens during your life that you don't really like, either stuff that you do or stuff that gets done to you, but you have to go through it eventually, otherwise you'll never learn from it...

BTW - It just occured to me that I don't think I ever replied to your last email... Sorry about that, I suppose that I still could, but I'm not sure if it matters anymore.

You're opinion always matters. Anyways, now I'm curious.
