It is quite unfair...

...that my LJ friends in Maryland, Delaware, and Philly have got all my snow. Seriously, are you trying to start a new ski industry down there? (Fine, okay, do that, but no stealing our mountains.)

That is all.

No, we're going for cross country skiing. That and marsh snow shoeing.

Marsh snowshoeing actually sounds like fun. Right up until the Abominable Swamp Thing arrives on the scene, anyhow...

I want to know what the Abominable Swamp Thing is doing in the marsh, you have to worry about the snapping turtle bears in the marsh.

It used to just be the Swamp Thing, but then there was all this snow... the Abominable Snowmen followed the snow down from the mountains into the swamps, and, well, nature will find a way...

I remember mountains in western Pennsylvania and Maryland. But it's been a long time and they may have worn down by now. ;-)

the problem is the eastern parts of the states and Delaware were the areas dumped on.

Cross country skiing in our nation's capital! It looks really pretty without the cars and the politicians.

Our local paper this morning carried a photo of a giant snowball fight in D.C.--so much more fun than the mudslinging that usually happens in that place!

Honestly, you can have as much of mine as you like. Can you come pick it up, though? I only have a Civic.

We have a standard truck, but relatively speaking that's still a lot of trips until we have enough snow to ski on again. We do have a snowblower... of course, that won't fit in a Civic either.

I could mail you some of ours. We haven't got any mountains, so it's just lying around on our streets here getting in the way. I understand the Post Office could use the business.

I appreciate it--but, honestly, I don't think it's worth the fossil fuel expenditure to transport your snow to my yard. ;)
