Oh gosh, I remember that. And I'm sorry for pointing it out; you were probably the first Canadian that I'd ever talked to. I live with a bunch of Canadians now and half the time people mistake me for being Canadian, too. <3

Welcome aboard! The best part of a horrible job that scared me out of office jobs for life was the co-workers all taking turns borrowing the IT guy's collection of Harry Potter books and then discussing them on our breaks. I was really upset that Ron's twin brothers were almost nonexistant in the movies; they were one of my favorite parts!

If there is one thing I've learned about being an American woman, it's that American women ARE awesome and you should talk about them all the time.

I remember when making icons was all the rage. It seems that died when Facebook got so huge. LJ slowly... faded. Glad you're back after all these years, then! Will you stick around?

one of the things I do like about lj is the anonymity or that people irl don't really read my lj.

I really liked working on lj layouts and the like as well. Am looking at this layout now and it's all glitchy because of how lj has changed. Perhaps I'll make some icons and fiddle with my layout, just like good old 2006!

I will definitely stick around. It's nice to have something like this as a way of getting to know people! (if that's how this works?)

And even now that you're older and in recovery and learning to move on from what bugs you, I love that you still retain the qualities that made me like you so darned much in the first place. I can't pinpoint them exactly... just that you're a bit of a goober, like me. And that I can get nerdy about math with you.
