Tomorrow morning, I’ve got a 10:25 flight from Heathrow Airport (in London) to Dallas and then from Dallas to Colorado Springs. As it usually goes with the events in my life, I have mixed feelings about it

Neat pictures!! Urg, I am so jealous!! I wanted to visit Stonehenge, but our travels didn't take us there. I've always wanted to see Stonehenge! It looks so cool! Thanks for the pictures!
You're welcome! : ) Hopefully you'll get to see Stonehenge before too long. It's worth it, despite the naysayers who say it's "not that special." Hope your job has been going well!
Hehe, I think I have a permanent dork hat. : ) I've tried getting rid of it, but it's just not possible! So I enjoy it.
I kept thinking of the Ministry of Magic, too. I haven't ever watched Doctor Who, but there was some kind of fan convention going on in Cardiff (where parts of it are filmed?). Oh, and I definitely thought of Diagon Alley a lot. Most towns in England have a pedestrian "high street" filled with shops. I felt closer to my homebody Harry Potter than I've ever been before.
I know how you feel about being tired of being a tourist. I didn't want to be leave Europe when I was there for two weeks this past March, but thinking of having another tour just made everyone groan. XD I'd love to go back and see what I want to see at my own pace.
Thank you! : ) I plan to post more soon. It got to the point where I'd be like, "Oh NO. There's ANOTHER museum I should go to? There are other possible tours to go on? NOOOO!" I'd had enough of feeling obligated to do the tourist thing. Plus, it was getting pricey. But after resting for awhile, I'm sure I'd do it again... : )
Wow, that's the last place I'd expect to see one! But I had a feeling somebody would prove me wrong about not having any red phone booths in the States. : )

My nerdy little self sees those phone boxes and goes "OMG it's the TARDIS! And the visitor's entrance to the Ministry of Magic!" :P *puts on dork hat*
Lucky you. Stonehenge is on my list of places to go before I die. :)
