Also, does anyone know of any good PLATONIC L and Near fanfiction? No shipping please, just the kind of affection that they have in this film. I know Near calls L a loser once, but I know he has respect for him. I'm glad we saw them interact in the film, even if Near is probably OOC. Urgh. Anything with sex and Near kinda squicks me. He's a kid and I'm just like 'ew'. I do like L x Light and Matt x Mello but I don't know where to look for good fic.

Actually, by the end of the series, Near is 19, meaning he's past the age of consent in many places. So technically, anything sexual with him will be okay. (In fanfiction, you know. XD)

I don't know where to find good fic, either. Most of them, to be blunt, are so crappy. >_

I figured he was older but I didn't know he was that old. It's still weird though since he acts just like a child. I guess it's okay in Japan though since the age of consent there is 13 (or so says the intranetz).

Okay. Someone recced me this L/Light fic which I still haven't read yet but it's rather lengthy so I figured I'd pass it along. I couldn't find it in my bookmarks and couldn't remember what I'd named it so I opened every one of them to find it. If you decide to read it tell me if it's any good.

Near is far too young to be doing it with anyone. Though there are some fictlets about him and L when they're older.
