Some of the tube stations in well known 'tuff' areas of London play classical music to discourage 'tuff kids' from hanging around.  Our station's resident DJ is awesome.  Lord of the Rings soundtrack during the afternoon, Blackadder during the morning rush hour and Harry Potter once it gets dark ( Read more... )

I don't remember which station it was, but they were playing classical music. I know Bow Road did that for sure though (but not always). :D

Weird flavours. I haven't tried any, but I might. Out of curiosity the very least.

They did that in a few of the metro stations around Newcastle... But in one place the charvs took some hockey sticks and smashed up the speakers... Yeah.

I kind of want to try the 'Builders Breakfast' one, but I haven't seen any of them in shops D:

Our tube station is between the big police station that 'The Bill' is meant to be based on, and the local pub where all the local 'community leaders'* hang out. So no smashy smashy. I'm surprised they didn't just nick the speakers XD

I have only seen the crisps in my local shop but they must be around elsewhere.

*read as local mafia
