X-factor

Good job it was on a little later this week else I'd have missed the first 15 mins. So much for getting back from Lidl's and thinking "I've an hour to kill, I'll just have a quick bash through a bit of Disgaea2", that game has a habit of not just loosing hours, but loosing entire days. I will do a game report at some point.

Food can wait till later, settles down with a coffee to watch

First up, Ben - Bit of a weak start but soon into his stride. Could tell he wasn't really comfortable working with the crowd. Not surprizing, that sort of antic is better left to more outgoing characters. But the singing, apart from the start was reasonably good. The rest will have to raise their game to match. Safe as houses.

McDonald Brothers - Hmmm just when I thought they where doing OK they go an hit a bum note. Sup par even for Butlins, which is about the only place I can imagine this pair having a musical career. They are nice boys, but seriously lack for actual talent. Bland! But even so, not a disaster so hope for them yet.

Ray - More swing, predictable... however, its working. Last week I would have happily hung, drawn and quartered the little shit, but this isn't bad. Probably his best performance to date. Lacking a bit of sparkle, but otherwise, didn't put a foot wrong. Very passable, giving Ben a run for his money, close but, y'know, I think he just scraped it with his performance being more confident.

Nikitta - Damn but that girl needs some styleing tips, that red number looked like a sack! Slow start...OK picking it up. Not picking it up very far... its a bit flat... not note wise, but performance wise. Just no energy. However I think she would suit something like "raining men" or an Eritha Franklin number. It was passable, but frankly that is the level I would have expected in week one, by now I expect more.

Eton Road - Worked on their dance routeen and even 'nearly' got the streak of piss doing the same thing at the same time as the others, not quite, but nearly. OH feck, they let him loose for a soloish bit... ouch, he needs looser underwear! Again, bland... definatly butlins stylee! I wasn't impressed. Maybe a little better than the McDonalds, but only just.

Leonna - Are brightly coloured sacks in fashion? Here we go again, someone needs to slap that girl around the head and point out she has a decent voice but she doesn't NEED to put the wobble into it, the wobble actualy detracts from the performance. That said, there is a little less of it this week and thus, the result is better. In fact her best yet.

Robert - Bit of a flat performance till about half way through, then he picked it up. Bit of a laidback song which I don't think was the right choise to grab the viewers and voters. An OK performance but I think he as lost the public and may well be in the bottom two again.

Ray
Ben
Robert
Leonna
Nikitta
Eton Road
McDonald Brothers

OK back in an hour for the results.

Right, lets see what the idiotic british public have voted this week (Assuming the votes aren't fixed like they are so often on things like this!)

Well on My assessment it would be both Louis acts, but that won't happen... so...

Safe are.... Robert (Yay), Leonna, Eton road (Bah, well Otter will be happy!), Ben and The McDonald Brothers.

Oh bugger, well that is unexpected. Well Ray put in a much better performance so should stay but... who knows

And if those two disagree it will be upto Cowel (He would save Ray)

Not quite as good, but still reasonable from Ray. Nikitta however put in a slightly better performance than her first effort.... but personaly, on tonight alone. I'd have to save Ray... BUT, he did swing an Abba track last week, I still haven't forgiven him for that... I'm not bothered which one goes.

Sharon first - Sending Nikitta home

Louis - Sending Ray home... predictable, to make Cowel make the final choise, but he won't be too phased.

Cowel sends home..... Nikitta... as I said he would (Tried to make it look like he wasn't going too, but it was obvious)

OK, see folks next week
