we never had a traditional romance.. i didn't take you to dinner with flowers and mexicans playing mandolins over a chicken in red wine sauce.. your ring isn't gold and our marriage wasn't a grand and public gesture of faith.. these are the sorts of things i mean.. i don't mean we aren't romantic.. it's only that i don't have the means to make our romance a traditional one..
