I hope my insubordination has begun to make sense. I know that sometimes you wonder.

We committed torture & engaged in terrorism at Abu Ghraib & other locations. I think some refer to this torture as abuse in order to diminish these crime that were done in our name.

hmmm... I think it is the nature of the media to attempt to gloss over real tragedy or controversy. It seems to me that more often than not the media distills the "story" to a sensational sound bite (or is it byte) so they might inspire curiosity but not inform.

I guess the question is, is the media responding to what the people want or are the people just so complacent in the way the media handles them.
