Perfect for this election year. Enough said.
Though (can't help myself) I have encouraged my daughter to read Candide by telling her that, despite the fact I took her cell phone away for restrictions, at least I didn't cut off her other buttock. She doesn't seem to think that's funny.
All I have to say: Bush is an absurdity and his regime is filled with atrocities. The more I think about it, the more appealing Canada becomes if Bush is re-elected. This is not to say Kerry is flawless. I do not think he's all that great. but Bush just has to go.
On a separate but possibly related note, I was asked an interesting question last night that I would like to pose to you (and everyone else interested):
Who do you consider the five most dangerous/concerning world leaders and wy?
"A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side." ~ Aristotle
