so, the drive went really slow yesterday. it seemed to take about seven hours more than it should have. it rained off and on from raton until denver where it just began to pour. ended up getting off the freeway an exit before i normally would. it took me an hour to get from arapahoe to my mom's house. it was pouring rain the entire time, so

This is nothing compared to all the rain we'd get when I lived in California. Only difference there is in CA I didn't need to ride my bike to and from work in the rain...

where in cali? lived in south cali, oceanside, vista area. hated it much, hated the people, the life, everything. didn't get much rain. must have been northern cali...somewhere like...*thinking* san fran, bay area-ish. if you move to denver, there will soon be the light rail and the bus to/from co springs...no need to ride the bike...though that keeps you in shape!
