The brain flickered in and out of the comforting numbness, thoughts of Keira's, thoughts of River's, both of them occasionally looking at the silent girl, with a cub in her belly, with shadows all around her.

Very awesome, I hope River gets through this alright, it sounds like she's going through some pretty tough stuff. Nicely written, I look forward to reading more.

Very nice. I'd be interested in working out why she feels like this- but she can get through it, I think. Pre-natal depression.
