You had me until "It is time to eliminate World Cup Soccer from America." I hope you meant to eliminate soccer from the United States? This U.S. Soccer fan says, just try to stop me from going to Burn(soon to be FC Dallas) games and watching soccer on Univision or Telemundo. I went to Dallas Tornado games in the 1970's and continued to watch soccer on PBS. I have been told my whole life that "no one watches soccer, no one likes soccer.", every time I go to a game I see a few thousand people that say otherwise. U.S. Soccer fans are the most stubborn people you will ever meet, no matter what you say or do, we are going to the games and keep cheering our teams. If you don't like it don't watch it.

I like soccer too.... when it was first becoming
popular here...back in the 70's ... the NY Cosmos
(and Pele') used to practice at my college.. that's when
I really got to be a fan of the game
