which vibrams did you get? I've been taking mine down the beach but are in no way keeping anything out (sand, water, cold...). signed up for a triathlon in Finland! looking forward to a sunny half IM distance :)

I got the Lontras. You might want to look at the XC, as well. Not insulated, but still water-resistant.

And have you seen the St Andrews OW Standard in July? I have no idea if I'll be fit for it but I've got my race licence renewed and I'm planning on entering.

I'd seen it! Very tempting but I have no idea what i'll be doing that time of year; my job could be up at that time and the St Andies race is only a couple of weeks before the Finland one...
