Dear Santa - 2009
This letter is pretty much the same as last years, but with a couple small changes....
Dear MTYG Santa;
In advance I want to thank you for my story. I appreciate the work you put in on the story so much, even though as I write this you haven't written it and I haven't read it yet. :)
You might find my request a little vague and I hope that it isn't making you want to scream or cry. I'm not trying to be difficult, which is why I have the suggestion on it for you to read this letter.
As to my pairing choices, it is simply a matter that, in my opinion, there isn't enough of either pairing to be found. I enjoy reading both (when I can find them) - so either one you write will be wonderful. Other pairings that I enjoy are JC/Lance/Chris and all the pairings you can make from that threesome, Chris/Nick, Joey/JC, Joey/Justin, Nick/JC, Howie/Lance & AJ/Lance.
I love stories that are funny, domestic, fluffy, smutty, mildly angsty, AUs, ARs, snarky, set in the near future or present day, have happy endings, filled with suspense, with kids/families, friendship moving into something more, established or new relationships, have subpairings and surprises.
Things that I don't enjoy reading are overly porny stories, excessive swearing, Plot what plot type stories, underage sex, drug and alcohol use, non-con sex, violence, blood and/or gore, death, heavy angst & stories set in a universe/fandom that I don't know or like.
If for some reason you are wanting to incorporate another fandom into your story - please take the following into consideration (and I say this not to be mean, demanding or bitchy) - I have never seen Supernatural, Smallville, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1 (or whatever it's called), Blood Ties, Prison Break, House, Charmed, Battlestar Galactica, QAF or Firefly. I quit watching Buffy before she was out of high school and only saw one year of Angel. I'm not into the bandslash fandom, I don't know anything about those bands and of all the songs I've heard from those bands there hasn't been one song I liked yet.
On the other hand the fandoms that I do know (other than popslash) are X-Men comics (pre-2004 mostly), Roswell, Kim Harrison's "The Hollows" book series, Kelley Armstrong's "Otherworld" books, Laurell K. Hamiltion's Anita Blake books & Anne McCaffrey's books (Pern, the Talents, etc.) You can pretty much look at my user info page and interests on livejournal to see the things I'm interested in.
My livejournal is mostly friendslocked, so if you aren't already on my friends list I give you permission to ask my lj friends ( in alpha order - lol - bellamyrose, blazey, poetrychik, msktrnanny and musiclover03) about me if you need further insight on things I like.
As I'm sure you noticed, I ramble at times. Usually when I'm overthinking or stressing about things.
Again, I thank you in advance for the story. I hope I haven't scared you off. I'm totally not a picky person, honest. I look forward to reading it -is it Dec. 24th yet?
