I have to disagree with you regarding the storyline of FFVII. I really feel that it is one of Squaresoft's all-time greats.. An opus of sorts. Now, I loved FF6, but, with the exception of maybe Celes, I didn't feel much of a connection to any of the characters. Kefka wasn't a very effective villian because they don't really go into his motivation any farther than "he's craaaazy ( ... )

Granted I can see your POV, however, you're also speaking from the perspective of a gamer that actually plays RPGs for things other than how shiny they look or how nice they sound ( ... )

As you know I agree with you full heartedly. FF VII is my least favorite of any FF game (though I havn't played FF VIII so I can't judge that one yet). Don't forget FF V...I loved that game.

Hey, sorry for being really random but...You used to go to Iselin Middle School...So I was wondering if you knew the first name or anything about an 8th grade english teacher there named Mrs. Dopart. I've been searching all over the net and have found absolutely nothing...See, she retired my year of graduation and is like, my favorite english teacher ever. Next year I'm going into my senior year and I thought about her. Yea, weirdly...But she really was a big role model for me and she helped make me who I am today. I really want to be able to find her somehow...Even if to just send a letter or something. D: Argh.

So if you know anything...It would most appreciated. Thanks. :3

(Hehe, Posting all over the place and hamstergal poked me here. XD)

Yep, and hamstergal would know it's been quite some time since I've ever thought about my old Middle School teachers. Case in point, Mrs. Dopart was actually my 7th grade teacher, and only went back to 8th grade sometime when I was in HS.

And as I recall, yes, she was one of the handful of English teachers from IMS AND JFK I actually liked.

Recalling her first name, though, that's a tricky one... I want to say Katherine for some reason. See, I checked my Middle School yearbooks thinking and hoping their full names would be listed like in the HS yearbooks. They're not. Now I'm culling from whatever memories I have as a substitute teacher whenever I got called into IMS.

However, the name that comes to mind for Mrs. Dopart is Katherine, or whatever spelling thereof. Again, I'm not entirely certain of the name much less the spelling. But this seems right to me.

Hope that helps.

Haha, now I'm really confused...One person I asked says Katherine and another says Kathleen. XD Oh well, I'm going to try calling the school and seeing if they can tell me anything. Hopefully I can find some information that way...

Other then that, thanks for your help! :3 It helps a lot. XD
