The Moral Cost of Video Games

The playground at the park you played at when you were a kid is probably covered with a thick layer of padding in case, Zod forbid, a child falls and scuffs his knee. I never played at a padded playground, and somehow I survived into adulthood.

...were the classrooms, though I don't recall them having windows. I do remember the funny clothes they made us wear; they kept our arms all snuggly and warm. For playtime, they let us curl up and scooch around like little worms, and we'd all sleep in the corner.

Actually, I think we were probably among the last of the "normal" playground generation. You know, the generation that allowed kids to play cops and robbers on the playground without the need of a child study team consult at the end of the day.

You're probably right, I should post here more often. Granted, the fact I try to keep up with this, MySpace and Facebook, I kind of forget I actually HAVE a paid LJ that I really SHOULD make the most of.

That and most of the spam I normally make fun of isn't quite as funny anymore. I think with the elections coming up this year though, I should have plenty of material to work with. You know, when I'm not tearing out my hair trying to plan (or rather pay for) my wedding.
