Multiple Broswers

Huh, apparently getting multiple versions of a browser to run on one computer is more complicated than I thought.

Maybe this is a good time for lunch.

Well when I installed the older version of FireFox it woiuldn't work at all when I ran it, there must be a sharing problem with the newer version.

I got a plain white screen with text HTML links for "File" "Edit" ect. very wierd.

As for IE I know I had three versions on my laptop but the way IE installs by writing to the same directory every time Program Files\Internet Explorer so when I installed the old one on my old computer it over wrote the new one. On the old computer I just changed the directory name and then re-installed the new one but XP won't let me re-name the directory probably because IE is so wrapped up on how XP functions. There was a tutorial online for doing it but it's just not a priority for me right now.

I think the easiest solution would be to get my old laptop running and install old stuff on it. That has the additional advantage of a 600x800 screen which is also something I need to test with - though I do have these handy little javascript things bookmarked to re-size my screen :)

Not necessarily a major problem. You can find P1/P2 computers for under 50 bucks these days.
