Only ONE?

You have GOT to be kidding me.

I'll settle for recommending Kushiel's Dart, by Jacqueline Carey.
Mind you, it's first in a series... followed by Kushiel's Chosen, and Kushiel's Avatar. Kushiel's Scion is "same world, different series".

I put one in all caps just for you.

And lucky you, you get to recommend another.

I've already read the Kushiel trilogy :)

I hate to read now, although I used to read a lot when I was younger too. If you've never read Candide by Voltaire, I recommend that one... really short and funny.

The only book I've ever enjoyed reading was "the Outsider", by Albert Camus. I might have his first name wrong.

But otherwise, books are the enemy.

Boo books. Boo.

The Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson (yes, technically, three books - Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars). I highly recommend this.
