YAY! I'm so gald you read it! Isn't it awesome?! I really loved it. His wife was so oddly creepy yet comforting because you knew if she was around Shadow was probably okay. I am now on a quest for his other books, but the used bookstore here in Freddy didn't have any - she said that people had been asking for them lately!!
Anyway, I just finished a book called "Ghostwritten". My sister bookcrossed it to me and I really enjoyed that as well. The author (I can't remember his name) also wrote a book called "Cloud Atlas" that I am now trying to find so I can read it. You should read that one too. ;)
I'm glad you recommended it I just tore through it! It's been a while since I read a book I just couldn't put down.
His wife was really creepy, and gross. I didn't find her comforting at all but I did feel sorry for her. I didn't really know what to think of her but then, neither did Shadow...
Sorry, this is unrelated to your post, but I love your icon! :) I hope you keep posting reviews of books because I can never decide which good ones to read!

I really dislike how long it took me to figure out who Wednesday was. I should have spotted him immediately, but it didn't click for a few pages.

I had a similar moment when it came to Low-Key. How could I have been so dense?
Indeed, it was one of the best novels I've read in ages. Gaiman never disappoints.
