I need to pull together a Ravenclaw outfit, and I'm hoping someone can help -- where the heck can I find a tie in book colors? I can't seem to find a blue-and-bronze tie anywhere, on HP sites or regular clothing sites. I got my tie from Wizard Ties, who have calibrated their colors to match scarves from Hobbie's House of Wizard Wear!

Thanks! Do you happen to have the second tie (http://www.whimsicalley.com/detail.asp?Product_ID=60161C02) or know someone who does? I like the style, but it looks more yellow than bronze in the picture.

I don't, alas. I used to live right by Whimsic Alley (it has a physical address in Santa Monica, CA), but it's been so long since I've been and moved that I honestly couldn't tell you off the top of my head.

I do, however, remember fondling the ties in the store. I think the one you linked is a kind of a deep golden color - but to be honest, that's about as bronze as most ties are going to come.

Edited! I totally forgot the book colors were blue/bronze and the movie colors were blue/silver.

But I do like blue/silver best. :)

I second the Wizard Ties recommendation. I have the Ravenclaw tie in book colors, and it's definitely a good bronze color, not a yellow or gold. It matches my Whimsic Alley sweater pretty well.
