sometimes movies get it right

I Am Legend is phenomenal. Mom & I went to see it today and we spent most of the movie with our arms inside our shirts and our shirt collars up over our noses, flinching and crying. It's an Animal Farm sort of good; exceptional, but not necessarily fun

When I first saw the I Am Legend trailer, I thought it looked all kinds of awesome. But. I hadn't read the book and I hadn't seen the extended trailer with the zombie/vampires. Unfortunately, I am the biggest chicken shit in the world, and so, despite various people telling me that it's good, or that the first 2/3 make up for the last (which is the most common so far), I'm going to have to take a pass on it.

And, damnit, I like post-apocalypse stories.
