home again home again

Nothing much except for YAY exams are over! They seemed harder than last semester's exams. I don't know if that was because they actually were or there were just more of them. I took a crapload of hours this semester. And I'm doing the same thing in the spring, so... heh. I prefer keeping busy anyway -- if I have too much time on my hands during a ( Read more... )

Yay for finishing a season of Angel! The end of season 1 should be "WTFMATE" enough to get you into season 2, where the show finally starts to break away from Buffy and become its own show.

Hopefully you'll watch all of season 2, since I am totally finishing Fool Moon once I get unpacked.

I'll definitely finish the first season... and hey, there are 10 Dresden books and 5 seasons of Angel, so my math worked out to 2 books per season. ;D (Kidding, I won't hold anything hostage like that.)

I'm excited about you getting to Grave Peril, since that's where so many characters and plotlines are introduced that are the foundation of everywhere the series has gone so far. :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! SEASON ENDING IS EVIL! EVIL EVIL EVIL! Evil beyond many evil evils!

I mentioned the evil on your Facebook as well. And, uh, the fact that I have not slept since I left your house WITH season one. Finishing it...oh, about ten minutes ago.

I am addicted!

Holy crap, that was fast! But I can't say anything, it is a crazy-addictive show. XD

The season ending -- I know right? THE SEMI. (My reaction was pretty much "NO, THE IMPALA! Shit, and the boys!") The season 2 opener is probably one of the best episodes of the show to date.

Feel free to drop by any time and swap for the next season. :D

I am so excited that we'll have a class together next semster!

I hope you have a fantastic break! (I plan on FINALLY reading some Pratchett and Gaiman like you suggested)

Don't forget that one of these days I shall buckle you to a chair and you will watch Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead!

:)

I know! And I love the fact that I get to read LotR again and get a grade for it. How awesome is that?

I hope you have a great break, too! Pratchett and Gaiman make the world go round (along with Tolkien). If you want to kill two birds with one stone, you should read Good Omens -- it's coauthored by Pratchett and Gaiman and it is one of the funniest books about the apocalypse ever written.

I do want to watch R & G Are Dead -- we need to work out a time for that in the spring. :D

You should share the Christmas cheer b/c I little to none this year. I'm just not feeling it for some reason.

Yay Christmas cheer! I've been busy making gifts like mad! I know your Tolkien professor! Dr. Stratner! She's kinda interesting.... I had her as a speaker for PEP ages and ages ago and I'll tell you this now: When she lectures, she rarely looks straight at the class. She looks either up or at the back wall of the classroom which is kinda weird.

Oh yeah, what do you want for Christmas?
