I've decided that all I want for my birthday is a big batch of king crab legs. Mmm, crab. Speaking of seafood, I made a tuna pate a few days ago that is to die for, holy shit. Tuna, cream cheese, dill, pistachios and lemon juice, plus gelatin, broth and a couple of hardboiled eggs to bind it together. Nom nom

Oh, pshaw. Nothing wrong with indulging the overdramatic a little bit during your teenage years. After all, if it isn't gotten out of your system back when your peers all approve of it, it'll still be in your system when your peers DON'T approve of it. Which would be worse?

Luckily, getting over the emo self-conscious srs bzns phase means that I both no longer fall for bad emo pop, I also don't feel any great shame over having taken it seriously once upon a time. I'd hate to feel ashamed of something I once liked. And I still have a sort of ironic fondness for those bands/songs. :)

Absolutely! I haven't seen a single friend since school ended. Thank god for the internet, but I do want to hang out in person once in a while!

Good times. Tomorrow's obviously too soon and I have some work to do on Thursday (This comedy sketch thing might actually happen. We've started storyboarding!), so I guess Friday or Saturday would be best.
