I miss school. I miss my friends. I'm not good at initiating contact with people and most forms of long-distance communication are inimical to me. (Talking on the phone is like pulling teeth.) But I'm kind of lonely, you guys... like, a lot. Could someone just say hi, so I know you're there ( Read more... )

LOL. I have been known to stare at the word "the" for so long that it morphed into some meaningless blob in my head, and then I couldn't read anything for a few hours. XD And I do fill out memes for characters sometimes, but I don't usually post them... I should do that more, maybe it would spark some writing back up.

I MISS YOUR FACE TOO! (And your crazy suite! ;_;)

I really don't appreciate summer the way I used to when I was little and loads of free time was the best thing since sliced bread. Now summer just means a lot of time sitting on my ass, being unemployed and far away from all my friends. :( You know, it isn't that far between Amory and Starkville... alas that I can't drive! But if you ever want to take a one-hour (or less) northerly road trip, I hereby submit a free-standing invitation to my house. :) We have a crazy dog... and, um, books. And a construction zone. It's at least marginally entertaining!

Hi! Long time no see! How's your life?

I do plan to try, as always! Some years I do better than others. Ever since that one year (05?) that a bunch of us met in Tupelo, I haven't had any fellow NaNoers in my area to chat or have write-ins with... it's kind of discouraging. But we'll see, maybe there will be a Columbus/Starkville area meetup this year. :)

Well! As I happen to live in the Tupelo/Amory area, which is rather close to the Starkville/Columbus area, I'd be happy to meet up with you! Hehe.

I actually won last year's NaNo. Hoping to manage it again this year. o.o But, you never know. I could end up with utter crap again this year. XD

I am indeed here.

Also, I just watched Bad Timing.

Fuck you, too, Sci-Fi.

I had a mini-meltdown after the end of Bad Timing. I don't think I've ever let myself become as attached to something fictional again.

Trust me, you're going to have another "fuck you" moment after PK Wars. During. Whatever. I'll tell you a secret: I haven't watched PK Wars since it aired. I bought the DVD for the sake of my deep and abiding love of the show, but I haven't had the heart to watch how it all ended again.

FUCK YOU TOO, SCI-FI. FUCK YOU VERY MUCH.

Dammit, don't tell me stuff like that! I just had to watch the first half-hour or so of PK Wars right after I finished Bad Timing just so my inner child would stop crying about Crichton and Aeryn even though it was approaching 2 AM.

Also, I've spent some time thinking about that even though the crew seems massively different by PK Wars, only Zhaan and Jool left Moya never to return (From what I've seen Sikozu and Scorpius [hey, he was kinda part of the crew there for a while] pop back onboard for a little bit). Kudos to the writers and actors for making the same people not the same people.
