I mean, realistically, would it have been so difficult? Rhys says something like Yeah, sure, what do you need? and goes away, we get a passionate J/I snog, fade to black, Rhys returns to see our boys working diligently at the computers - but Jack's braces are down, Ianto's tie is crooked and both their hair is mussed. That would have been less than Adrift, even. We're not asking for much. (And I agree with the commenter below that it really bothered me that the two of them didn't even touch once between Days 1 & 4.)

Sorry, meant to add that I really liked the story. It should have happened like that. It disturbed me greatly that after that kiss in COE1 - we don't see them touch again all through 2 and 3. Not a touch.

I haven't felt any better yet. But I still have a gaping sore that's never closed from what happened to Donna on DW. I suspect that this will be the same. And that RTD will be on my shit list for eternity.

Thanks! Like I said to mrs_cj_harkness, would it really have been that difficult to write into the script? Rhys leaving, one snog, fade to black and then Rhys returning to find disheveled boys typing away at the computers and maybe touching knees or something? Seriously. It wouldn't even have been as much as Adrift.

I kept bursting into random tears last night until I went to bed just to get away from it. And I hardly know if I even want to watch the last episode. All of my enthusiasm, my excitement that I got new Torchwood for my birthday, died utterly last night. Even Joss never made me quite as angry at the stuff he did than I have been at Russell Davies for the atrocities of Donna and Ianto.
