I need to write. I need to create something again. Having my throat meddled with all summer and having writer's block for so long have converged and conspired to make me feel like I've been silent for months. I have thought and thought and come up with absolutely nothing for that prompt. It's a bit specific. And I think it would require me to write Kataang, which ain't gonna happen... I'll keep pondering, though.

Yep, the Garth Nix series. I love them to death. I love everything by Nix to death, but Sabriel is nearer and dearer than the rest. Except maybe Shade's Children. :)

I really liked Shade's Children and the Abhorsen books. I let one of the people at my unit read Shade's Children, and I think it freaked her out.

And regarding the prompt - yeah, it was kind of specific. Sowwy. XD But hey, y'know... Kataang doesn't have to actually last. They're young. Who knows? XD
