Oooh, congratulations on graduating!

And, yes, games can be fabulous, immersive, almost addictive. When I'm playing a game, it basically stops me from writing for a while, because they share the same mood/time-space. But they are so much fun!

I would rec some games but I haven't had real access to a Wii in over a year now. And you've already got Zelda, which is the only one I know of that I would rec for you. I'd suggest Final Fantasy but I only know of one game ported to the Wii and I've never played it so I dunno how much the storytelling/fighting levels out.

I am an unhelpful video game personage. D:

You could go ask the guys in the mall GameStop. They're bound to know a few they can suggest.

Guitar Hero def. I literally just got through playing. It takes a little getting used to when you first start playing it. I failed every song I played when I first picked it up. But after practice, I was able to play everything on easy and have now moved up to the medium level.

Mario Party 8 is really fun, too. It's like a board game with little "mini-games" in between turns. The mini-games are random and can be anything from a puzzle solving game to a general "button-pusher." I have lots of fun playing that game by myself or with a group.

That's really all I have to suggest. I don't have many games for the Wii. Only Mario Party, GH, Mario Kart, Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resort (and the Sports one that comes with the console), and Pitfall. Pitfall is pretty fun. Kinda takes the old-school Atari game and gives it an upgrade. Wish I could give more suggestions.
