Well, I went out today tracking with my oldest daughter (8 years old) and we had a great day of tracking. We tracked people, dogs, hares, and small rodents. But the biggest excitement was the deer. I have read that animal tracks are like a string with you at one end and the animal at the other...as you track you just go further along hte string. ( Read more... )

This weekend I am headed to a level three man tracking course and I am a bit nervous about it. I feel like I am competing with myself in a way. I did the level 2 in one go, which hasnt been done before....so I feel pressured to do the level 3 in one go as well.
