6 Wives of Henry VIII

So back last fall, Maya, Katie and I (Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour & Ann of Cleeves) decided we needed to get some people together and go to the Michigan Renaissance Festival as the 6 Wives of Henry VIII. We also decided not to do their portrait dresses, but rather in their individual styles. Because I seriously doubt they only had one or two dresses.

Oh, you ladies look simply wonderful!
I like that you arranged your collective pose chronologically from left to right, but you did indeed get the styles just so and although I knew you were portraying Anne of Cleves, I could tell clearly and easily (and without having to read!) who was who. And it was only after reading your "labels," which of course confirmed to me that I'd identified each of you correctly, that I had, in fact, got each style matched up to the correct queen/wife.

One if the best parts IMHO, was Catherine Howard was only a year younger than her historical counterpart, and actually the daughter of the woman playing Anne Boleyn, so related by blood as their historical queens were actually cousins. <3
