I made a further edit to my original post here. And I think I'm done on the subject, I know I've said that before but... I've really nothing left to say in light of whats come out. It took the night and some sleep to process it all. Still confused, still saddened, also angry. I think I'll leave the post a few days, then set it to private.

I'm a little concerned about the timelines I've seen in the press so far. Benoit sent a number of distressed SMSs out early Sunday morning to other WWE people, who took it to WWE mgt. Who then contacted the local police *the next day*, by which time Benoit was dead. Maybe less of a delay would have made no difference; maybe it might have.

at least one quote i saw said people didn't see the text messages until much later on. Day of a PPV I can sort of understand not really looking at your cellphone. Its out the hotel and into the arena getting ready for the show. But yes, the timeline is somewhat odd. One thing I havn't seen with these times is timezones or anything to give an indication of who was where and when. Gah. So many unanswered questions...
